Job Description

The Payroll Specialist in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry is responsible for assisting with the accurate and timely processing of the company's payroll. This role involves handling payroll-related tasks such as data entry, record maintenance, and responding to employee inquiries. The Payroll Staff will work closely with the HR and finance teams to ensure the smooth operation of payroll activities and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing:
Assist in processing payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Enter and verify payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant labor laws.
  • Data Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records.
  • Update employee payroll information in the payroll system.
Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll data.
  • Employee Inquiries:
Respond to employee questions and concerns regarding payroll matters.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and issues promptly.
Provide support to employees regarding payroll policies and procedures.
  • Reporting and Compliance:
Prepare and distribute payroll reports as required.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of payroll tax filings.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Benefits Administration:
Process deductions for employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Ensure accurate reflection of benefits in payroll.
  • Collaboration:
Work closely with HR to ensure accurate employee data and proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with the finance department for payroll-related financial reporting.
Liaise with external payroll service providers if applicable.
  • Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in payroll management.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.Experience:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing or a related field, preferably in the F&B industry.
Familiarity with payroll software and systems.
Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
Experience with specific payroll systems used in the F&B industry.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration and tax reporting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php20,
  • 00 - Php23,000.00 per month
