ROLE - JOB DEFINITIONThe Payroll Officer contributes to the company's success by completely, accurately and timely processing and delivery of the employees salaries and benefits. He/she shall be responsible for tracking and managing the company's payroll data which include but not limited to timekeeping records, employee work hours, deductions, overtime, government mandated benefits, respond to employee inquires about wages and deductions, etc.
The position is also responsible for the accurate and timely application of Republic Act 10963 (Tax Reform for Accelaration and Inclusion TRAIN Law), updated rulings of SSS / HDMF / Philhealth contributions and all other salary deductions mandated by law and the timely remittance of such payments and deductions.
- QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- At least three (3) years Payroll related experience in a Supervisory role;
Knowledge in the processing of payroll transactions in any Payroll Software;- Updated with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations on Compensation Income;
Updated with SSS, HDMF and Philhealth benefits, documentation requirements and reporting;
- Abreast with Accounting Standards;
Proficient in verbal and written communication skills.- Proficient in MS Office applications.
