Duties and Responsibilities:- Facilitates the company's overall payroll and billing processes from different construction project sites
Collect daily, weekly or monthly timesheets for all project sites- Calculate bonuses and allowances
Prepare employees compensation by the end of each week using excel (payroll is on a weekly basis)
- Coordinate with payroll/billing assistant for the concerns
Prepare payment slips and gather signed receipts- Report directly on the VP for Admin/Finance on payroll expenses
Ensure wages and tax withholdings comply with regulations
- Enter new employees data (e.g. SSS, Philhealth, PAGIBIG, and tax identification numbers) into internal databases
Answer questions about compensation, benefits, taxes and insurance deductions- Coordinate with the HR Head for employment-related concerns
Secure copies of Leave Form, Salary Adjustment, Job Offer/Job Order Letter and Clearances from the HR Department
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- At least two years of experience as Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk, or equivalent
Experience doing payroll in a construction industry is a plus- Knowledgeable with up-to-date labor laws for compensation and benefits
Proficient in MS Applications, especially, in MS Excel
- Amenable to work overtime if needed
