We in Brainbox are looking for a Patient Experience Officer to perform a variety of customer support tasks in a clinic based in Australia.
- Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or any relevant degree in medical field
- Up to 3 years of experience in nursing/relevant role
Has a high degree of experience in dealing directly with patients- Experience in roles requiring a personable, sensitive, and genuine approach to patient relations
Has a strong understanding and grasp of medical terminology and translating these to the uninitiated
- Previous experience in practice administration will be highly regarded
Skilled in customer service and health care management
answer incoming calls from patients and medical practitioners- answer email requests/inquiries/appointments
send voicemail messages that need to be prioritised
rescheduling appointments as needed- acts as an information resource and ambassador to patients, the public, and all other stakeholders
maintains accurate financial records and provides reports as needed
- involves in interviewing and hiring of staff
conducts regular staff training, meetings, and appraisals- adheres to the practice's policies, procedures, and code of conduct by meeting practice standards and accountability and ensures clinical governance processes are in place
Relevant nursing/relevant certification is highly regarded
Process and detail-oriented
- Strong English comprehension, both written and verbal
Well-spoken English that can be easily understood- Takes direction and instruction in a positive manner
Documentation and organisation skills
