  • Objective of the role:

To lead the Pastry Department across all kitchen outlets, innovating and crafting exquisite desserts and based goods that delight our guests, while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and creativity.

  • Job Description:
  • Menu Development
Conceptualize and create diverse a pastry menu tailored to the preferences of our clientele
  • Conduct regular research on pastry trends, ingredients, and techniques to enhance menu offerings.
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure pastry items complement overall menu offerings
  • Production Management

Oversee the production of pastry items across multiple outlets, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
  • Implement efficient production processes to optimize workflow and minimize waste
Train and mentor pastry staff on proper techniques, safety protocols and quality standards
  • Quality Assurance
Maintain strict quality control measures to uphold the freshness, taste, and appearance of all pastry products
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment, ingredients, and finished products to ensure compliance with food safety and regulations
Address any issues or discrepancies to maintain the highest level of product quality and consistency
  • Team Leadership

Provide strong leadership and direction to the pastry team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Delegate tasks effectively, manage work schedules, and monitor performance to ensure productivity and morale
Conduct performance evaluation, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for skills development and career growth

  • Job Requirements:
Preferably graduate of any of the following

  • Tourism

  • Hospitality

  • Culinary

  • TESDA training
  • With at least 5 years prior or on-going work experience as Pastry Head Chef
Should be amenable to work in Camarin, North Caloocan City

  • Product Quality
Consistency of taste, texture, and presentation across all pastry items
  • Feedback from guests and management on the quality and satisfaction level of pastry offerings
Reduction in customer complaints related to pastry products
  • Operational Efficiency

Achievement of production targets while minimizing waste and optimizing resource utilization
  • Improvement in production efficiency metrics, such as speed of service and turnaround times
Implementation of cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality
  • Staff Development
Progression of pastry staff in terms of skill development, performance, and job satisfaction
  • Employee retention rates and reduction in turnover within the pastry department
Participation in training programs and professional development opportunities
  • Guest Satisfaction
Overall ratings and feedback on pastry items in guest surveys and online reviews
  • Increase in repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals attributed to pastry offerings
Contribution of pastry department to overall guest experience and satisfaction levels

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month
