Responsible for creating desserts, pastries, breads and salads needed for the entire operation.
Creates and prepares dessert menu items for all pastry and cold kitchen needs.
Handles ordering of food supplies needed for the pastry section.
Prepares and cooks all food, prepares desserts, pastries, breads, and salad to the highest standard of food hygiene and quality.
Ensures that quality and safety standards are implemented and maintained in the branch.Records and monitors all documents needed for dietary, cafeteria and catering operations.
Monitors and controls the food cost and minimizes food wastes.
Ensures that proper HACCP and operation manual standards and procedures are being implemented.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
A degree or diploma in culinary arts OR any college degree.
At least 5 years experience as a pastry chef.
