Position Snapshot

Be part of our client's team as a Part-Time Bookkeeper and Virtual Assistant, where you'll handle essential financial tasks like managing A/P, A/R, reconciliations, and monthly reporting. You'll support critical climate action projects with precise financial records and insights, helping drive sustainable transformation from behind the scenes.

Employment Type: Part-time
Shift: Flexible between 2 PM - 10 PM (MK Time)
Work Setup: Work from Home

What You'll Own & Operate

  • Maintain accurate financial records and complete daily entries and reconciliations.
  • Execute month-end close procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in deliverables.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes.
  • Perform bank statement and credit card reconciliations.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports, ensuring Balance Sheet and P&L accuracy.
  • Monitor weekly and monthly Budget vs. Actual and analyze income statement variances.
  • Manage and maintain the Chart of Accounts.
  • Assist with tax returns and analyze reports for business operations and budgets.
  • Support ad hoc projects as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support sales operations, including documentation for deal closures and renewals.
  • Manage customer invoicing and oversee collections.
  • Oversee CRM and pipeline management.
  • Handle vendor payments.
  • Provide communications support in HubSpot (monitor inboxes, delete spam, assign messages).
  • Maintain a competitive market database for strategic insights.


Requirements

Your Qualifications & Toolkit

  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online and CRM software (HubSpot preferred).
  • Skilled in spreadsheet management and data analysis.
  • 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, including bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of calculating, posting, and managing accounting figures and financial records accurately.
  • Technologically literate, with the ability to navigate and learn new applications quickly.
  • Self-motivated with efficient issue resolution skills.
  • Highly organized, with strong task prioritization abilities.
  • Clear and timely communicator, proficient in Slack and adhering to communication protocols.
