Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and versatile individual to join our small but growing financial planning business. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assisting our financial adviser by providing paraplanning expertise while also contributing to various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with financial adviser to prepare SOA, ROA and and strategy notes for clients.
- Conduct research on Superannuation products, investment options, and insurance products.
- Assist in constructing complex financial models and scenarios to support client recommendations.
- Prepare and review client documents, including investment proposals and retirement plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in paraplanning within the financial services industry.
- With at least 1 year experience in Australia Paraplanning.
- Proficiency in financial software including Xplan, Wealthsolver, Xtools, and risk research.
- Ability to model financial planning strategies and future consideration in Xtools.
- Attention to detail and Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements for financial planning.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing education and on the job learning
