Job Description
As a Paraplanner, you will be instrumental in creating high-quality, compliant financial advice documents and supporting material for Authorised Representatives. Your role ensures accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to legislative guidelines, providing valuable assistance to financial advisers and helping them deliver exceptional service to their clients.
Your Role at a Glance
Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM (fixed weekends off)
Location: Onsite in Cebu City

A Day in the Life: Your Key Responsibilities
- Developing and constructing high-quality, compliant financial advice documents and relevant collateral for Authorised Representatives.
- Ensuring all created documents are accurate, technically sound, and personalized according to legislative requirements and guidelines.
- Overseeing advice document requests and collaborating with Authorised Representatives to maintain appropriateness and quality.
- Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with Authorised Representatives, representing the company with professionalism.
- Assisting in training and educating Authorised Representatives to maximize Paraplanning service utilization.
- Supporting the development and enhancement of processes and procedures for Paraplanning functions.
- Staying updated on industry rules, legislation, and obligations related to financial planning.
- Sourcing and evaluating technical resources and information relevant to financial advice.
- Attending industry technical update sessions to remain current on best practices.
- Compiling and preparing adviser training materials and reports as needed.
- Facilitating training workshops and delivering presentations for adviser education.
- Participating in ad hoc projects that enhance team services and support company objectives.
Requirements
The Expertise We Value
- Prior experience in Paraplanning or Financial Adviser compliance is preferred.
- Proven experience working with financial advisers.
- Proficiency with all modules of Xplan software.
- Extensive and current knowledge of Australian Financial Services licensees and their advisers.
- Experience with all aspects of Microsoft Office, as well as other relevant software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer literacy and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing conditions.
- Capable of presenting to both small and large groups.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are preferred, along with knowledge of the Australian Financial Services industry.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exhibit motivation, and engage effectively with a range of individuals.
