What you'll do:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paraplanner & Compliance Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. As aParaplanner & Compliance Officer, you will support both the paraplanning and compliance needs. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in paraplanning along with a solid understanding of compliance requirements, as the role involves oversight across three Corporate Authorized Representatives (CARs) operating under our new license.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

Paraplanning:

• Conduct thorough research and analysis to support the development of financial plans.
• Prepare and present financial plans, investment strategies, and recommendations tailored to client needs.
• Assist in the preparation and review of client reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage administrative tasks related to client onboarding, plan updates, and ongoing service requirements.

Compliance Oversight:

• Support the company's compliance framework by ensuring that all activities align with regulatory requirements.
• Act as the compliance liaison across the three CARs, maintaining open lines of communication and reporting to each CAR.
• Monitor, review, and update compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to industry regulations and best practices.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and assist in the preparation of compliance reports.

Collaborative Reporting:

• Report directly to all three CARs and work closely with each entity to support compliance and paraplanning needs.
• Coordinate effectively across the three distinct businesses, each with unique processes and client modules.

Software Utilization:

• Utilize DASH software to streamline planning and compliance activities.
• Ensure accurate data entry, maintain client records, and generate reports as needed for paraplanning and compliance tasks.

Successful candidates must have:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a paraplanning or compliance role within the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of compliance regulations and paraplanning best practices.
• Proficiency in using DASH or similar financial planning and compliance software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to report to multiple entities.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
