Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
Working knowledge of litigation processes and court procedures.- Familiarity with drafting and filing pleadings and other legal documents.
Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge and background in litigation and pleadings. This position is perfect for recent graduates who are eager to learn and willing to be trained.
Litigation Support:
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law and statutes.Case Management:
Maintain and manage litigation calendars, including court deadlines and appointments.
- Coordinate and schedule witness interviews, depositions, and other litigation-related meetings.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court officials as needed.Document Management:
Prepare and organize exhibits, evidence, and documents for court proceedings.
- Manage electronic discovery processes and maintain document databases.
Summarize depositions, trial transcripts, and other legal documents.Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to attorneys, including drafting correspondence and managing case-related communications.
