Job description:

Looking for an experienced paralegal for long term employment. You will work with a legal team that is involved civil litigation concerning various forms of real estate disputes. You must work well in a collaborative environment and with others. You must have basic problem solving skills. The scope of work is inclusive of the following:

• Filing using a document management system.
• Scheduling appointments and hearings.
• Managing calendars.
• Assisting attorney with project management using a project management platform.
• Communicating with clients (in writing and by phone).
• Filing documents with the court.
• Filing documents with the county recorder's office.
• Client intake.
• Helping attorneys manage emails.
• Serving documents (electronically, and by mail).
• Public Records searches.
• Pulling documents from the county recorder's offices.
• Assisting the lawyers prepare for hearings.
• Creating project checklists.
• Creating templates.
• Helping the lawyers create systems and procedures.

We are a problem solving firm that is objective driven. We are very collaborative in nature and we are looking for people that work well as part of a team who possess an attention to detail. We employ technology inclusive of a CRM system, DMS system, the Microsoft Office Suite of products, and more. We are based in California and planning an expansion into Texas. Experience with civil litigation in California is a plus, but not required.
