Job Description As a Packer at The Beauty Closet, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring accurate and efficient packaging of beauty products for distribution.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Packaging and Labeling:
- Prepare and pack beauty products according to specified packaging guidelines and standards.
Ensure accurate labeling of products with appropriate information, including barcodes and product details.
- Conduct quality checks to verify that packaging meets company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Pick and pack products based on customer orders and shipping requirements.
Prepare shipments for delivery or distribution channels, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.- Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and customer service, to fulfill orders efficiently.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist in inventory control by accurately recording inventory movements and counts.
Notify the operations officer of low stock levels or discrepancies in inventory.
- Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper handling of products to prevent damage.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Follow company policies and procedures related to product handling, packaging, and shipping.- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in packaging and work areas.
- Minimum Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Skills and Competence:
- Previous experience in packaging, warehouse operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory management.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move packages.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
