Package Designer

Infinix Mobility is looking for a Package Designer to join MY HUB.

The hub will consist of an in-house capability and a matrix of external agency and post production partners.

As a Package Designer at Infinix, you will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and functional packaging solutions for our diverse range of products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and production, to ensure that our packaging not only protects the product but also communicates our brand identity effectively.

For this role, you will collaborate and report to the HQ head based in Shanghai and MY HUB Leader.

Responsibilities:

• Design Conceptualization: Develop innovative and visually striking packaging concepts that align with the brand image and product specifications.

Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and production teams to understand packaging requirements, ensuring a seamless integration of design and functionality.

Brand Consistency: Maintain and enhance brand consistency across all packaging materials, considering color schemes, typography, and graphic elements.Material Selection: Research and recommend appropriate packaging materials that align with product characteristics, sustainability goals, and cost considerations.

• Prototyping: Create prototypes and mock-ups to test the feasibility and functionality of packaging designs, making necessary adjustments as needed.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on packaging regulations and industry standards to ensure all designs comply with legal requirements.

Print Management: Work closely with printing vendors to oversee the printing process, ensuring the final product meets quality standards and specifications.

• Qualifications:

• You are an easygoing, versatile, and collaborative person.

You have a compelling portfolio of work that demonstrates high-quality design and concept across a variety of projects.

• Proven experience as a Package Designer or in a similar role. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

Strong understanding of packaging materials, printing processes, and production techniques.

• Excellent creative and conceptual thinking abilities.

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality.

Knowledge of sustainability principles in packaging design is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field.
