Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Travel & Expenses (AP, AR, and T&E) team
Be up to date on the professional and IT-technical development within the team's functional area and bring relevant improvement proposals forward the SSC Management
Assess major changes in process and operational scopes which will require cross-function assessment (RF / LoB / HQ) and provide sign-off for items that impact Operations within their functional scope and present to Sr. Manager for approval
Monitoring the KPI's and PPI's for the team and if required taking preventive and corrective actions to ensure performance by agreements
Ensure that the team meets the requirements of the Law and the requirements of the auditors according to the recorded materials and the internal controls instructed by the Vestas compliance policies ready to be presented to Sr. Managers for final review
Facilitate knowledge sharing related to specific processes within own team
Participate in knowledge sharing with other team leads
Initial workload assessment and recommendation on utilization strategy of resources
Ensure execution of AP, AR, and T&E processes for own team by good practice and service delivery requirements, and securing a valid data output for further analysis
Keep process flows for country exceptions up to date, well-documented, and described in the global repository
Qualifications
An Accounting graduate
At least 2 years of team lead/ supervisory experience, typically in a shared service or business process outsourcing environment
At least 6 years combined experience in finance and accounting, 4 years of which is in end-to-end accounts payable (Invoice Processing, Issue Resolution, Payments, Vendor Reconciliation and Relations, GRNI, and other month-end activities and Optimization)
Preferably with good exposure in working with Service Level Agreements and metrics (KPI)
Practical knowledge of ERP applications (SAP, Smartscan, ServiceNow, etc.)
Competencies
Good English communication skills, both verbal and written
Possess significant leadership and interpersonal skills
Able to coach, mentor, and train team members
Good in MS Office applications (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Flexible and willing to work on holidays as needed and on any shift as maybe assigned
Independent and can work with minimal supervision
With positive behavior and attitude. Can blend well with different kinds of personalities
