Job Summary: Orderly is part of the patient experience team and will assist by helping and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, helping with patient care by transporting patients, and delivering equipment, messages, food or other materials doctors and patients may require. Assist Healthcare professionals including nurses, doctors, and medical staff, by performing errands.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Transferring patients throughout the hospital
Delivering medical equipment- Handling waste and dangerous materials
Bringing meals to patients
- Delivering patient medical notes
Transferring the deceased to the mortuary
Qualifications:- Preferably graduate of any medical allied course / completed a Vocational course / Certified NC2 Holder in Healthcare Services or related course or certification
Pleasant personality, courteous, with a helpful and cheerful attitude
- 1 to 2 years experience in a medical facility/hospital
Preferably with BLS or 1st aid training- Knowledgeable of basic policy, protocol, and procedures in handling patients safety, and medical equipment, can understand basic medical terminology and can handle confidential information and follows hospital health and safety guidelines.
Mentally and Physically fit and capable as this role perform physical tasks, like moving and lifting patients from one room to another.
