Job Description

As an Order Processing Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient order processing, from verifying customer information to generating documentation and coordinating with internal teams. Your attention to detail and customer-centric approach will drive timely, accurate deliveries that exceed expectations.

Your Daily Tasks

• Process and enter orders in the system accurately and in a timely manner.
  
• Verify order details, including quantities, pricing, and delivery instructions.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and customer-specific requirements.
  

• Collaborate with inventory, warehouse, and logistics teams for timely dispatch.
  
• Communicate with customer service to keep customers updated on order status.
  

• Maintain accurate records of orders and shipments.
  
• Prepare shipping documents in line with regulatory standards.
  

• Investigate and resolve order discrepancies or delays.
  
• Escalate issues and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
  

• Use order management software or ERP systems for tracking and reporting.
  
• Ensure data accuracy and update records as needed.
  

• Respond to inquiries regarding order status and delivery times.
  
• Provide courteous support to internal and external customers.
  

Requirements

The Qualifications We Seek

• High school diploma or equivalent associate's or bachelor's degree in business preferred.
  
• 1-3 years of experience in order processing, logistics, or customer service.
  
• Proficiency in order management or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle customer concerns.
  

• Experience in a manufacturing, retail, or distribution environment.
  
• Familiarity with supply chain and basic inventory management.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
