In this role, you will support your assigned leaders and their teams and be responsible for planning and development of training and education based on needs and overall strategic direction of the company for both internal and external customers. Additionally, you have a pivotal role to develop HOYA's leadership in Myopia Management by engaging Thought Leaders in this area.
The following is a detailed, but not exhaustive, listing of the hands-on tasks you will undertake in the role:
o Develop and execute strategy to establish HOYA as a leading company with a focus on science, technological innovation, and expertise.
o Elevate our leadership in Myopia Management by building a strong partnership with leading industry associations, events, key opinion leaders and influencers.
o Liaise with Optometry organizations managing professional affairs and congress participation.
o Lead the development of training initiatives and module creation in support of key customers. Conduct tailor-made training programs for ECPs, Store Staff and Owners of key accounts as HOYA's Lens Expert.
o Develop and improve technical information and selling skills of our internal sales force by conducting regular training programs for banner brands and newly launched products.
- Sales and Marketing Support
o Provide scientific and medical support to our new product development and new business opportunities.
o Further strengthen our organizational capabilities and competencies in innovation.
o Works closely with customer service by providing expert opinion on lens trouble shooting.
o Provide periodic review of materials based on credible scientific support, claims, and competitive benchmarking.
o Serves as qualified person who has the responsibility to comply with technical requirements of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or engage the FDA officials when conducting inspection or post-market surveillance activities in addition to relevant support required for HOYA's licenses as Lens Supplier.
o Any related projects identified by the organization to boost the business.

Education:
o Graduate of Optometry with PRC License
o At least 2 years of experience working in the optical industry.
o Previous experience in training and professional affairs is an advantage.
