Job Description

Job Overview:

The Sales and Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and aligning sales strategies with operational efficiency to drive business growth and meet organizational goals. This position involves managing both sales teams and operational functions to ensure seamless coordination and performance.
  • Reports to: General Manager
  • Responsibilities:
  • Sales Management:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
  • Lead the sales team, set sales objectives, and provide guidance to achieve sales goals.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competition to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • 2. Operational Oversight:
Manage and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Coordinate with various departments (e.g., production, logistics, supply chain) to streamline operations and meet customer demands.
Implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to improve workflows.
  • Monitor operational performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for improvement.
  • 3. Financial Planning and Budgeting:
Collaborate with finance and senior management to develop budgets aligned with sales and operational strategies.
  • Monitor expenses, control costs, and allocate resources effectively.
  • 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Foster collaboration between sales, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment towards shared goals.
  • Work closely with senior management to communicate strategies, progress, and challenges.
  • 5. Team Leadership and Development:
Recruit, train, and mentor sales and operational teams, fostering a culture of high performance.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to drive teamwork and collaboration.
  • Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in senior management roles involving sales and operations leadership.
Strong leadership, strategic planning, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in utilizing sales and operational tools/software.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
