The places of interest include Hamiguitan World Heritage Park, Aliwagwag Falls Eco Park, and Pusan Mandaya Cultural Village. These esteemed customers rely on us to realize their ideas, and we are searching for a skilled Operations Manager to uphold this legacy of quality.

_JOB SUMMARY:_

The Operations Manager for our modular furniture division is responsible for overseeing the efficient production and delivery of high - quality modular furniture solutions. This role includes managing production schedules, optimizing resources, ensuring product quality , and leading a dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in driving the success of our projects, including prestigious ones like Discovery Samal, Lanang Premier Doctors Hospital and Malagos Garden Resort.

_KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: _

  • _PRODUCT MANAGEMENT_
  • Plan, organize, and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery timelines for modular furniture products.
Ensure the efficient use of resources, including labor, materials, and specialized machinery.
  • Monitor production processes and workflows making adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal productivity and minimize downtime.

QUALITY CONTROL _
  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures to ensure all modular furniture products meet company specifications and industry standards.
  • Address and resolve any quality issues that arise during the manufacturing process, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
    • Conduct Regular inspections and audits to maintain high-quality standards.

    • _TEAM LEADERSHIP_
    • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of supervisors, production workers, and support staff in a collaborative and safety-focused environment.
    Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork, encouraging feedback and innovative ideas from team members.

    SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE_
  • Ensure the plant operates in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, specifically those relevant to furniture manufacturing.
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures tailored to modular furniture production, including the safe handling of materials and operation of machinery.
    • Investigate and report accidents or incidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

    • _ CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT_
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing practices within the modular furniture production environment.
    Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in modular furniture manufacturing to ensure the plant remains competitive.

    BUDGET MANAGEMENT_
  • Develop and manage the plant's budget, including labor, materials, and operational expenses, with a focus on cost-effective modular furniture production.
  • Monitor and control costs to meet financial targets, identifying areas for potential savings without compromising quality.
    • Prepare detailed reports on production and financial performance for senior management, highlighting key metrics and improvement areas.

    • _INVENTORY MANAGEMENT_
    • Oversee inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished modular furniture products to ensure the availability of materials for production while minimizing excess stock.
    Implement inventory control systems and procedures to track and manage stock levels effectively.
    • Coordinate with the procurement team to maintain a reliable supply chain, negotiating with suppliers for quality materials at competitive prices.

    -QUALIFICATIONS:_
    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Business Administration or a related field.
    Proven experience in a manufacturing or production management role within the modular furniture industry.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills with track record of developing high-performing teams.
    Excellent problem-solving and decision -making abilities, particularly in a furniture production environment.
    • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies specific to furniture manufacturing.
    Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to furniture production.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
    Proficiency in using production management software and other relevant tools.
