Responsibilities:- Oversee Daily Operations:
Manage and coordinate all operational aspects of the business, including front-of-house (reception, reservations) and back-of-house (kitchen, housekeeping).- Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning by monitoring workflows and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Staff Management:- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they perform their roles efficiently and maintain high standards of customer service.
Schedule staff shifts and monitor attendance, productivity, and performance.- Address staff concerns and manage conflicts or disciplinary actions when necessary.
Customer Service Excellence:- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by overseeing service delivery and addressing customer complaints or issues promptly.
Continuously gather customer feedback to improve service quality.Budgeting and Financial Management:
Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Analyze operational expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure the business complies with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Maintain quality control standards in line with industry best practices and company policies.
- Inventory and Supplies Management:
Oversee ordering and management of inventory, including food, beverages, and other supplies.- Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained while preventing overstocking and wastage.
Vendor and Supplier Relations:- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and maintain positive relationships to ensure timely deliveries and favorable terms.
Regularly assess supplier performance to ensure the quality and cost-effectiveness of goods and services.Strategic Planning and Development:
Develop and implement operational strategies aimed at improving efficiency, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for improvement or growth.
Health and Safety:
- Implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests.
Regularly review safety standards and ensure compliance with all local regulations.
Prepare operational reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), areas of success, and areas for improvement.- Analyze data to optimize operations, improve profitability, and ensure guest satisfaction.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.- Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and solve problems efficiently.
Familiarity with budgeting, financial reporting, and inventory management.- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
