Key Accountabilities:- Handle and oversee all freight forwarding service offerings including but not limited to ocean/ air freight operations, procurement, projects and product development.
Setup and oversee a freight team handling import/export/customs/trucking/billing- Promote a continuous improvement approach to the processes striving towards operations excellence.
Promote prompt, smooth and efficient dialogue between stakeholders, cargo agents, shipping lines, authorities and the logistics operations to maintain strong and professional relationships with customers and ensure logistics hub meets pro-forma productivity
Minimum 10 years experience in freight forwarding operations with at least the last 5 years in managerial position
- Experience setting up freight forwarding/ logistics operations department is an advantage
Willing to work in a start-up environment and able to manage ambiguity well- Action and results-oriented
