The
Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of a bakery within the food and beverage industry. This position requires a skilled professional with a strong background in operations management, supply chain, and food production. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
- Involved in the acquisition of new branches (BreadTalk CALABARZON, Bicol, Palawan, and CDO Branches), and developing existing stores.
- Manage and optimize the production processes to ensure timely and high-quality bakery products.
- Monitor production schedules, coordinating with various teams to meet demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to uphold product standards and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, ingredients, and finished products.
- Lead and motivate a team, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and production standards.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and maintain necessary certifications.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations management within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
