Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Operations Director for E-Commerce to oversee and optimize our online sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and improving e-commerce operations, driving revenue growth, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and hands-on management to ensure the seamless execution of our e-commerce strategy.
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement e-commerce operational strategies to drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Team Leadership and Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team, including e-commerce managers, customer service representatives, and logistics personnel.- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of e-commerce operations.- Implement data-driven strategies to optimize online sales, conversion rates, and customer experience.
- Customer Experience Management:
Ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience across all e-commerce platforms.- Address and resolve customer issues and feedback promptly and effectively.
- Supply Chain and Logistics:
Oversee inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics to ensure timely delivery and accurate order processing.- Collaborate with suppliers and third-party logistics providers to optimize the supply chain.
- Technology and Platform Management:
Work with IT and development teams to ensure the e-commerce platform is reliable, secure, and up-to-date.- Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement.
- Budgeting and Financial Management:
Develop and manage the e-commerce operations budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and ROI.- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
Prepare regular reports on e-commerce performance, including sales, traffic, and conversion metrics.- Utilize analytics to drive decision-making and strategic adjustments.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, E-Commerce, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred).- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and customer experience management.
Proven experience with data analysis and performance metrics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.- Familiarity with supply chain management and logistics.
Proficiency in relevant e-commerce software and tools (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Google Analytics) is an advantage.
