The
Operations Associate will contribute to the operational efficiency of the organization, supporting various functions within the operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support:
- Assist in the development and implementation of operational strategies to support organizational growth and objectives
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency enhancement
Process Improvement:
- Analyze existing operational processes to identify opportunities for optimization
- Support the implementation of improvements to streamline workflows and enhance overall efficiency
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with different departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination of operational activities
- Serve as a point of contact between operations and other functional areas within the organization
Vendor Coordination:
- Assist in managing relationships with external vendors, including negotiating contracts and monitoring service levels
- Contribute to the evaluation of vendor performance and provide recommendations for improvements
Project Support:
- Support the planning and execution of special projects and initiatives led by the Operations team
- Help ensure project milestones are achieved and contribute to project success
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Assist in analyzing operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Support the preparation of regular reports for management, providing insights into key operational metrics
Compliance and Risk Awareness:
- Maintain awareness of operational policies, procedures, and relevant regulations to ensure compliance
- Assist in identifying and assessing operational risks, proposing mitigating strategies as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field
- Proven experience in operations support or a similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data analysis tools preferred
- Must be willing to work US business hours
- Flexibility in coverage being able to support a wide array of personalities and leaders
- Nice-to-have:
- Experience in virtual assistance or remote work
- Experience in a startup environment, US-based company, or other similarly fast-paced, highly demanding, high volume, dynamic environment
