We're looking for an Operational Risk and Control Specialist to join our Insurance Operations team at MBPS. In this role, you will be assessing and actioning control reports, building and developing new controls, and ensuring that any gaps are remediated.

Key Responsibilities:
You are a key Subject Matter Expert (SME) representing control processes and collaborating with our Member Operations team to ensure sufficient controls are in place
Work as directed by management team to research and document business issues involving controls procedures and processes
Identify, document, and evaluate internal controls gaps in collaboration with Risk and Compliance partners
Provide leaders with initial analysis of options available to address auditor issues and recommendations
Participate in and contribute to activities aimed at risk awareness
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
Proficiency in MS Office suite
Experience with Power BI is a plus
Familiarity or experience with SQL is a plus
Ability to quickly understand business processes and their risk implications, analyze complex situations, reach appropriate conclusions, and make valuable and practical recommendations.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to effectively deliver key messages
Strong organizational and implementation capabilities, with good time management and reporting skills
