Major FunctionResponsible for monthly stocks inventory, checking and receiving of incoming stocks and monitoring all incoming and outgoing deliveries by using the FIFO method.
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Receives stocks and checks documents (PBL/DR/SI) against actual cargoes received at the warehouse
- Maintains the documentation's accuracy by ensuring all daily transaction shall be recorded accordingly before leaving the workplace
- Receives (PL/DR/SI) from the Principal's Coordinator for stocks preparation prior to deliveries
- Requests Truck assignment to trucking dispatcher for outgoing deliveries
- Observes proper handling of cargo during unloading and loading operation
- Make sure that FIFO method, correct items and quantity are followed accordingly prior loading of stocks to the delivery truck/van
- Conducts regular weekly cycle count of all stocks
- Administers discrepancy report for any damage/irregularities noted during stripping and loading operation
- Maintains cleanliness in the warehouse at all times by ensuring that the following are consistently observed:
- 1 Hygiene and Sanitation
No thick dust on stock piles
No cobwebs in ceiling and walls
Clean and dry flooring
No foul odor within the warehouse perimeter
Presence of waste bins with cover strategically located
- 2 Building
No signs of leaking roofs
No cracks between floors
Good lighting inside the warehouse with no busted light bulbs
- 3 Equipment
All equipments and pallets are in good condition
- 4 Pest Control
No signs of infestation rodents and insects
No presence of other pests (I.e. dogs, birds, cats, etc.) inside the warehouse
- Maintains Stock Card for good and damage products
- 1 Inventory records shall be accurate and submitted promptly
Inventory inflow and outflow shall be properly monitored.
