Operations Assistants work in a variety of industries, providing administrative support along with clerical tasks that aid the daily business operations of an organization. They typically report directly to an Operations Manager or Supervisor. A job as an Operations Assistant generally does not require more than a high school education, except in specific industries such as the medical field. This career might appeal to someone interested in organization, business operations and communications.
- V. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Assistants work with operations managers and other personnel to help keep business running smoothly
Initiate and develop a plan to create job training PowerPoint and video manuals for current and new-hire employees, which saved on time management and eliminate costly systematic mistakes
Motivate and accommodate co-workers by adopting additional workloads, which resulted in greater teamwork, boosted employee morale, helped decrease employee turnover ratio, and effectively enhance knowledge of various departmental functions.
Manage projects nationally and direct planning, scheduling deadlines, budget and manpower.
Assists and supports pre-determined marketing plans and email marketing, as directed by Supervisor

Minimum of a high school diploma, college degree preferred.
Intermediate office administration and computer skills.
Strong problem resolution skills.
High level of attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Ability to appropriately handle confidential information
Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and time-management skills
