As an Onshape Designer, you will leverage your expertise to create high-quality 3D models, sheet metal designs, and complex assemblies. You will also help streamline the transition from SolidWorks to Onshape while ensuring design feasibility and adherence to industry standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll be at the forefront of the latest design innovations, contributing to long-term strategic goals while optimizing processes for the future.

• Master Onshape for efficient use of Part Studios, documents, publications, and rendering.
  
• Create high-quality 3D models, sheet metal designs, and complex assemblies.
  
• Convert parts and assemblies from SOLIDWORKS to Onshape.
  
• Develop sales and fit-out assembly drawings adhering to industry standards.
  
• Apply engineering principles to all design work.
  
• Manage and document design specifications and guidelines.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility.
  
• Lead the transition from SolidWorks to Onshape, optimizing processes.
  
• Stay updated with the latest Onshape features and industry best practices.
  
• Achieve long-term strategic goals by continuously improving design processes and outcomes.
  

Requirements

Designing Talent Required

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
  
• 3+ years of experience in Onshape and familiarity with SolidWorks
  
• Knowledge of sheet metal design principles and manufacturing processes
  
• ERP system knowledge is a plus
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
  
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit
  
• Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to change
  
• Ability to balance tactical responses with long-term improvement goals
  
• Strong time management and a team-oriented mindset
