ABOUT THE ROLE:_
The Occupational Health (OH) Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) who is responsible for the basic health examination of employees and inspection of the work area for health hazards. The OH Nurse implements health programs and promotes health and well-being in the workplace.
The Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) shall provide support to the Site Health Adviser (FPH), health team leader, or if absent, the site ESH focal person. The OH Nurse also supports compliance with Health Management Systems Standards (HMSS) and applicable regulatory requirements.

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS ARE:_
- Health Assessments and Surveillance
- Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and return-to-work health assessments.
Monitor and document employees health status and medical histories.- Implement health surveillance programs and manage health records.
- Workplace Hazard Assessment and Control
- Identify potential health hazards in the workplace through regular inspections and assessments.
Collaborate with the safety team to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health standards and regulations.
- Health Promotion and Education
- Develop and deliver health education programs and materials to employees.
Promote wellness programs and initiatives, such as vaccination drives and fitness programs.- Provide counseling and support for employees on health-related issues.
- Emergency Care and First Aid
- Provide immediate medical attention and first aid to employees in case of workplace accidents or emergencies.
Coordinate with external medical facilities and emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain and restock first-aid supplies and equipment.
- Health and Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations and company policies.
Prepare and submit required health and safety reports to relevant authorities.- Participate in health and safety audits and inspections.
_QUALIFICATIONS:
_Registered Nurse.
Certified by OHNAP At least one (1) year of working experience
as an Occupational Health (OH) Nurse.DOLE Requirements and Procedures
Has lead OH related policies and programs.
- Familiarity with ISO related protocols is a plus.
Certified in First Aid- Preferably has undergone training in Basic Life Support and Cardiac Life Support.
Comprehensive clinical training in Occupational Health and Nursing.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Attention to Detail.- Critical-thinking skills.
Excellent intrapersonal skills
Willing to work in Rockwell, Makati City.
