Job Description

General description: The Office Assistant provides a range of clerical and administrative tasks to support daily operations. This role involves handling a variety of tasks related to organization, communication, coordination, and basic technical support.

  • Specific duties and responsibilities:
Answers and directs phone calls, takes messages, and handles correspondence and packages.
  • Greets visitors and provides them with appropriate information or directs them to the relevant person or department.
Assists in managing and organizing the reservation of meeting rooms.
  • Maintains and updates office files, records, and databases, both electronic and paper-based.
Monitors and maintains office supplies and equipment, and reports any issues to the immediate head.
  • Performs field work and acts as runner for tasks related to government offices, banks, bills payments, suppliers, etc., when necessary.
Responsible for sourcing of suppliers, incl. canvassing of legitimate vendors for the company's purchases (office supplies, equipment, etc.)
  • Maintains inventory records of hardware, software, and other IT assets.
Provides basic technical support to end-users, assists with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Liaises with AU IT Support to escalate and resolve more complex technical problems.
Assists in organizing office events, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Assists with special projects and perform other duties as assigned the by immediate head.


  • Minimum Qualification Standards:


With at least a 2 or 3-year Associate Diploma in Office / Business Administration or Information Technology
  • With at least 1 to 2 years of experience as an Office Assistant or similar
Proficient in using Office 365
  • Preference shall be given to applicants with experience in Inventory Management
Mature, independent, hardworking and a team worker
  • Quick worker, decisiveness with planning and communication capabilities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php19,
  • 00 - Php20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Makati City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:
  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:
  • Office Assistant: 2 years (Preferred)


Basic Technical Support: 1 year (Required)
  • Administrative: 1 year (Required)
* Inventory Management: 1 year (Preferred)
