The Nurse Educator enables nurses to perform and improve the skills that they apply in their line of work.
Conceptualizes, conducts, monitors, and recommends learning and training interventions consistent with the hospital's needs and department's goals and objectives.
- Develops curriculum for training programs
Facilitates and conducts actual training programs for hospital staff- Ensures effective delivery of training courses by reviewing design, researching for content, and verifying accuracy and effectiveness
Monitors the progress of programs and recommends necessary adjustments
- Develops and utilizes appropriate and effective presentation and diagnostic tools and instruments relevant to the course at hand
Handles administrative functions of trainings including but not limited to logistics, budgeting, reportorial requests and requirements, etc.- Facilitate New Hire Training, Refresher Training, Upskill/Cross skill training as per business requirements

- Supervise nurses training and assist in successful transition to operations
Oversee nurses performance during training and evaluate assessment results- Appropriately document nurse performance, prepare training reports to record progress
Manage performance through coaching, create individual development plans and recovery plans within the training timeline to ensure new hire goals are met
- Make recommendations for training content, format, improvements, and/or optimization
Assist in developing, updating and maintaining knowledge base, SOPs, Facilitator guides and participant handbooks- Perform applicable post-training activities, as required (e.g., roster reporting, classroom reset, storage of supplies/materials)
Ensure consistent compliance on operating standards and regulatory requirements
Recommend training as well as non-training related solutions- Demonstrate good application of teaching methods & style for optimum learning
Utilize statistical tools to validate data and results
- Understand priorities, metrics, and goals of the business to align training needs
Learn business and process specific- Perform training needs analysis, identification of root causes of performance gaps
Articulate, document and communicate participant milestones and success
- Champion company policies and procedures through appropriate & timely corrective action plans
Participate in program offers and certifications, champion continues education- Perform periodic assessment to check compliance issues and assist in correcting findings
Maintain excellent communication and partnership with the business
- Support and drive innovation changes, process improvements and new age learning

- Job Specifications/ Qualifications
With a Bachelor's degree in Nursing with a valid PRC License; MAN/MSN units an advantage
- At least 1-2 years of related experience in Clinical Training
At least 1-2- years of related teaching experience- Good communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
Skilled in MS Office and various presentation software
- Organized, speaks well and easily relates with people of different backgrounds
With good work ethics- Willing to work in Arca South, Western Bicutan, Taguig City
