About the job Nurse ConciergeThe Nurse Concierge will initiate calls to Medical Providers to gather pertinent medical information such as but not limited to, the extent of the patient's injury, treatment plan, etc. Communication with injured workers would be done over text message. S/he should be comfortable and efficient in handling outbound and inbound calls, text message exchange and back office tasks.
- Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the onshore Case Manager once all medical criteria have been met.- Perform outbound calls to Medical Providers in securing appointments for the injured workers, verifying attendance, request medical records, return to work status forms and referral/s, if any.
Receive inbound calls from Medical Providers and IW to answer their inquiries pertaining to a claim
- Accurate documentation and patient file management.
Reviewing patients progress as needed.- S/he will work on a multi-system with an evolving scope of responsibilities over time.
Provide support to assigned Case Manager as needed.
- Attend training/educational classes as appropriate.
Coordinate activities in the Supervisors absence, when applicable.- Strive to achieve departmental standards and objectives.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary and assigned.
An active and unrestricted Philippine RN License
- At least 2 years of clinical or related work experience
Experience with Nurse Case Management and US Workers Compensation preferred- Good leadership qualities with the potential to train future colleagues in the department.
Motivated and assertive in finding better and more efficient processes as part of the continuous improvement of the department.
- Critical thinker and good problem solver
Good patient care skills- Excellent verbal and written communication
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel and general computer literacy
- Able to work with dual screens.
