Perform canvassing, sampling, and preparing of comparative canvass for at least 3 different suppliers- Monitor of price changes, and maintaining reports on project costing
Coordinate with suppliers
- Site inspection, monitoring and tracking of deliveries (includes documentation and clerical works)
Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs- Prepare Purchase Orders for various departments and sends copies to suppliers
Facilitate credit applications with suppliers by maximizing discounts, prolonging credit terms and pushing for free delivery of materials
- Consolidate updated supplier records with contact information, pricing schemes, credit terms, and supplier's portfolio
Evaluate and improves process flow, documentation requirements and other concerns that will enhance the material procurement process- Secure the best price of all items which constitute the lowest price possible and longer term possible
Interact with suppliers in case of delay in delivery of items, receipt of damaged or incorrect quantity of goods
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned
