JOB DESCRIPTION:- Ensure the Noodle station is set up and properly stocked.
Set up and stock food items and other necessary supplies.- Cook food items by boiling, steaming, simmering, pressure cooking, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
Perform inventory; check and complete food storage logs.- Anticipate orders during peak service times to assure timely preparation and service while minimizing over production and waste.
Properly present all food items and provide maximum appeal, quality, temperature, and freshness.
- Maintain food safety sanitation and equipment cleaning schedule
Assure proper portioning, plating, temperature, garnishing, and presentation of food items.
Minimum 1-year cook- to- order experience- Demonstrated experience in a cook- to- order, casual dining environment
Must be able to complete duties in a fast-paced kitchen while performing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with various cooking methods and procedures
Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team knowledge and demonstrated practice of safe food handling- Knowledge and demonstrated practice of maintaining a clean and sanitary work station
Ability to remain productive in a high pressure environment
