As a Senior software engineer, your role involves creating, enhancing, and maintaining robust APIs that seamlessly integrate with external systems. You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define API specifications, architect efficient solutions, mentor junior team members, drive process improvements, engage in strategic planning, stay current with emerging technologies, and facilitate external collaboration for smooth API integration efforts.
Software Development Experience:
A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, including deploying and maintaining web applications.
- Technical Proficiency:
Strong expertise in building RESTful APIs and developing SaaS applications.
Proficiency in modern programming languages, with a preference for Node.js and TypeScript.
- Frameworks and Technologies:
Familiarity with Kafka or similar messaging frameworks.
Knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.
- Database and Cloud Skills:
Comfortable working with SQL and RDBMS systems.
Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Azure, Kubernetes, or AWS.
- Engineering Principles:
Solid understanding of software engineering principles and industry best practices.
- Communication and Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills, along with empathy and compassion.
- Industry Advantage:
Previous experience in the logistics industry is advantageous.
