Job description- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure reliability and scalability
Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions promptly- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of new technologies
Perform regular network performance monitoring and optimization
- Document network configurations and procedures for future reference
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance network security and efficiency- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
- Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers.
Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.- Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection.
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.- A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable and flexible when necessary.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued).- Proficiency in network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP)
Hands-on experience with network equipment (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
