Network Engineer

OBJECTIVE(S)

• To spearhead sourcing and developing new products and solutions;

To initiate and consistently implement quality assurance programs that will validate compliance of new and existing products/solutions in accordance to the required specification of the company and/or client;

• SCOPE OF WORK (Responsibilities and Accountabilities)

Actively communicate ideas / concepts and exchange vital information with the company's R&D partners aimed towards determining products/solutions (which may be an improvement of existing or a totally new product) that have high market viability;

• Educate Business Associates, concerned personnel, end-users and customers on new products or developments/technologies relevant to existing products;

Prepare (& re-compose, if necessary) the product literature (such as product technical specifications, assembly manual, drawings, 3rd party laboratory test result, compliance statement, etc.) in a manner that is coherent and suitable to the requirement of the client;

• Facilitate the communication and discussion with concerned manufacturer/vendor-partner and/or customer in addressing product quality concerns and determining possible resolution;

Audit systematically the technical capability of potential manufacturer/s and present findings/report before the Division Head &/or management that will facilitate the deliberation and decision on the most suitable vendor to partner with;

• Interact with Business Associates, customers and manufacturers and be able to translate the customer attributes into engineering attributes;

Effectively determine qualified manufacturer of new products and solutions (in collaboration with SCD);

• Provide the necessary technical assistance to concerned personnel to accelerate their understanding on the new product and guide them effectively in carrying-out their respective work assignment;

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS STANDARD

• EDUCATION

A graduate of Engineering Course (preferably ECE/ Electrical), Information Technology or Computer Science

• EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

Preferably with at least 4 years relevant experience in Product Development.

With extensive knowledge on Telecommunication Equipment and Solutions.

Background in CISCO Networking would be an advantage.

Experience in Computer Aided Design Software.
