.Net Developer

JOB PURPOSE

The _Web Developer, Digital Solutions_ works on various projects and production support using .NET technologies. This role is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining web, desktop, and command line applications using C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and other .NET frameworks and tools, PHP, WordPress, JavaScript, SQL databases, REST APIs, JSON, and other technologies.

• SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The _Web Developer, Digital Solutions_ has the following responsibilities:

Designs, develops, and tests web applications using .NET languages and technologies.

Troubleshoots and debugs existing web applications and systems and provides resolutions within defined Service Levels

Collaborates with other developers and project managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Learns and applies new skills and technologies as required.

Works with SQL databases, REST APIs, JSON, and other data formats and protocols.

Provides functional and technical support and documentation for web applications

Participates is all development activities as required by the Software Development Lifecycle, including deployment activities.

Provides Production Support to other business units

Performs development and test environment maintenance activities at the application and database level.

Performs application operations and maintenance activities, such as monitoring and ensuring scheduled activities run as expected, ensuring application integrations execute as expected, etc.

Automates version control, build and deployment activities.

Backlog aging for assigned L3 Production Support Tickets

System Test & UAT programming defects counts

Production programming defect counts

Compliance to Coding Standards, including secure coding practices

Deliverables within budget and schedule

• JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in any Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering course

• At least 1 year experience with any of the following: C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Entity Framework, MVC, Web API, and other .NET frameworks and tools

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and other web development technologies

• Familiarity with PHP, WordPress, and other CMS platforms

Familiarity with SQL databases, REST APIs, JSON, and other data formats and protocols

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and quality standards

Able to identify problems and choose a logical solution.

• Able to understand the functional aspects of store operations.

Able to gather relevant data to prepare, evaluate and analyze reports.
