Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Naval Architect Marine Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing marine structures, vessels, and offshore platforms. The candidate must have an in-depth understanding of marine engineering principles and be able to provide technical guidance to other team members.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze marine structures, vessels, and offshore platforms
- Provide technical guidance to other team members
- Review and approve engineering drawings and specifications
- Conduct feasibility studies for new marine projects
- Manage and oversee project timelines and budgets
- Perform calculations and simulations to ensure structural integrity and stability
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to address any concerns or issues
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in the marine engineering industry
- Strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
- Ability to perform calculations and simulations to ensure structural integrity and stability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and oversee project timelines and budgets
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience in the SEA job market is highly preferred
