REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
1-2 years experience with MPF design (New build and/or Fit-out works for High Rise, Commerical and/or BPO and Corporate Offices).- 1-2 years experience with MPF Quantity Take-off and costing (New build and/or Fit-out works for High Rise, Commerical and/or Corporate Offices).
Professional license holder preferred but not required.
- Knowledgeable with Local and/or National Code.
Knowledgeable in AutoCad.- Knowledgeable in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Knowledgeable in commercial fit-outs.
- Experience handling BOQ and Unit Price Analysis is a plus.
Knowledgeable in Planswift is a plus.- Knowledge in Revit is a plus.
Knowledge in Procore is a plus.
- Review of Mechanical, Plumbing, Sanitary, and FirePro requirements from clients and Building Management for the completion of plans and cost estimates.
Assist in creating complete MPF plans.
- Assist in measuring plan and prepare bill of quantities for mechanical, plumbing, sanitary and fire protection system;
Evaluate contractor's proposal for all PMI's, change order and other construction-related claims;- Conduct site visits and reconciliation of evaluated proposals if necessary.
Prepare cost estimates for project cost evaluation and comparison;
- Coordinate with suppliers for Request for Proposal and bids before and during Project Implementation.
Complete evaluation of technical and commercial bids;- Quarterly updating of material / equipment cost database.
Coordination with Site Managers, Engineers, Consultants, and Suppliers.
- Performs other related duties and functions as may be assigned by immediate superior.
