Job Description

Job Summary:

The Motor Vehicle Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspections to ensure the roadworthiness of motor vehicles. This includes verifying compliance with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) for vehicle lights, and checking the suspension, speedometer, brake systems, and emissions in accordance with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) emission standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visual Inspection: Conduct a comprehensive visual examination of the vehicle to identify any exterior or interior damage or wear. Verify that all vehicle lights (headlights, tail lights, signal lights, etc.) comply with LTO IRR guidelines.
Suspension System Inspection: Inspect the condition and functionality of the vehicle's suspension system. Detect any signs of wear, damage, or need for repair or replacement.
  • Speedometer and Instrument Panel Check: Test the accuracy and functionality of the vehicle's speedometer. Ensure all instrument panel indicators are operational and meet regulatory standards.
Brake System Testing: Perform thorough inspections and tests of the vehicle's braking system. Confirm the effectiveness and safety of brakes under various conditions.
  • Emission Testing: Conduct emission tests to ensure the vehicle complies with DENR emission regulations. Use appropriate diagnostic equipment to measure exhaust emissions and identify any environmental compliance issues.

Qualifications:
  • TESDA National Certificate holder or graduate from any 4-year automotive-related course
Strong understanding of vehicle systems, including lights, suspension, speedometers, brakes, etc., and emissions.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to identify mechanical and technical issues.
with Driver License non-professional or professional.
  • Previous experience in automotive repair, or a related field is a plus.
Willing to learn.

  • Customer service orientation and capability to explain inspection results to vehicle owners clearly.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: Php
  • 00 - Php610.00 per day
