Responsible for planning, development and implementation of hardware, software applications, programming and systems network and integration of a management information system or enterprise network.- The MIS also has personnel, branch and supervisory responsibilities as well as creating plans for the use of telecommunications integration with existing information systems.
Works closely with a chief information systems officer (CIO) and Information systems manager. Together, they review the needs of the company; employees and customers related to information management, data processing and distributed processing for end users.
- Establishes budgets for hardware and software. In collaboration with a data security officer, the MIS officer establishes procedures and standards for access to data processing facilities and the data itself.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor's / College Degree and/or master's in mathematics / accounting / Statistics, Business Studies / Administration / Management, Economics.
At least 5 to 7 years of experience in MIS.- Knowledgeable in data processing and reporting.
Knowledge on business process analysis.
- Experience working with senior decision makers.
High proficiency in both business and technical writing.- Preferably awareness in financial business.
Able to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization.
