The Role
Scope & Responsibilities
- Ability to work on ABAP developments of a product. This will be working alongside our client's Architect and US-based ABAP Developer.
- Troubleshooting skills: ability to problem solve and systematically work through an end user help desk problems / issues. Communicate back and liaise with the Customer Care team on the best remedy and way forward.
- Minimal autonomy is expected. Whilst the role encompasses the ability to work with other developers, there will be times (e.g. a week or two) whereby no supervision will be available. The applicant therefore, must be autonomous enough to work independently.
- Knowledge of SAP HR is a big plus.
Ideal Profile
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 years of SAP R/3 ABAP experience.
- SAP ABAP Object-Oriented knowledge is a must.
- At least 4 years of SAP HCM Development
- The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the SAP HR/PY modules or work in ABAP for HR is a plus.
- There must be a passion to learn new skills for their own career advancement.
- Understanding of new concepts such as HANA, OpenUI5 is a plus.
