The work: Resource will be responsible for administering, developing, testing, and demonstrating databases. Resource will perform various related database functions across multiple teams, including designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery, and configuration management. Resource will provide input for the modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. Resource will also engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions, providing solutions to problems for resource immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies for improving database performance and efficiency.
- Design and implement database security measures to protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in database management.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on database-related tasks. Here's what you'll need:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration.
- This position is based in Manila.
- A Database Management at a beginner level is required. Database Performance Management, Database Optimization & Tuning, and Database Activity Monitoring at a beginner level are recommended.
- Required Skill: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration.
- Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration.
- Strong understanding of database management principles.
- Experience in database performance management and optimization.
- Knowledge of database activity monitoring.
- Familiarity with database security best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
