Minimum Job Requirement- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years related experience in Repairs and Maintenance Workshop handling heavy equipment.
- Duties and Responsibilities
Shall ensure equipment reliability are maintained at its highest level possible.- Shall identify safety/environment/health risks and prepare a documented risk assessment of any activity.
Shall ensure that the section have available employees (Mechanics, Electrical Technicians, Tiremen, Equipment Cleaners, and Documentation Assistants) to complement the Section's daily workload.
- Shall ensure that resources such as tools, spare parts/materials and repair equipment are available to complete the assigned tasks to Mechanics, Electrical Technicians, and Equipment Cleaner in a safe and orderly manner.
Shall coordinate with the Warehouse Section all material/spare parts requirement that needs replenishment or issuance of Purchase Requisition for future or planned repairs and maintenance.- Shall be able to identify his requirement through the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts catalog or recommend alternative parts through other source of reliable technical data or information.
Shall conduct the Daily Toolbox meeting on his assigned Shift ensure that all MES personnel are mindful of all the safety aspects of their job task. Additional safety reminders as required shall be communicated through the Toolbox meeting and properly understood by all in attendance.
- Shall conduct regular inspection of all works/jobs done on Preventive (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) completed by subordinates and sign-off on the relevant form that is properly accomplished and filled-in by the subordinate.
* Shall conduct regular audit/inspections of Workshop Tools and Equipment that is for the general use and coordinates with his Superintendent any irregularity (defective or missing) and identify if such is due to wear and tear or improper/careless use.
