Merchandising Assistant

The Fashion Merchandiser gives analytics to the Merchandising Supervisor which relates to the pricing, allocation, inventory, and event promotion of merchandise. He/she shall provide significant reports and data to his/her immediate superior to maintain standard on his/her assigned category (Mainline and Factory Men's Denim, etc.)

• Major Responsibilities

• Preparation and updating of sell thru per category (Mainline and Factory Men's Denim, etc.)

Analyze which are best and slow Stock Keeping Units (SKUs)

• Verify, prepare, and present the merchandise items for pricing.

Make the necessary updates to the Merchandising Price Updater MR (MPMR).

• He/she must create proposals, suggestions and/or recommend categories and styles for markdown, price change and salability.

Price updating in Least Wholesale Price Tool (LWP/ MMS 001)

• INVENTORY/ALLOCATION/REPLENISHMENT

• The Fashion Merchandiser shall check, verify, allocate and update statuses of categories according to their various outlets (Employee Store, Stores etc.)

Ensure that inventory is tallied with system.

• REPORTING

The Fashion Merchandiser shall create, analyze, monitor and/or update the following reports as needed:
-Best and Slow seller
-Salability per size and per fit
-Sell through
-Stock to Sales Ratio (SSR)
-Weekly Sales Report (Allocation/Replenishment)
-Monthly Sales Category report on Sell Through
-Allocation Summary

• Job Qualification:

- Any business-related bachelor's degree preferably Management, Economics and other courses that may be related to the position.
- Must be detailed oriented.
-Has the potential to lead and direct people.
-Possesses a strong sense of responsibility.
-Has the potential to present data driven recommendations.
-Strong ethics, professional and personal integrity.
-Strong analytical skills and adept in interpreting strategic vision into an operational business.
-Has the potential to be an effective communicator both oral, written, and persuasive skills
-Proficient with MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
