Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Merchandising Strategy Development:

    - Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with the company's sales goals and brand guidelines.

    - Monitor market trends and competitors to adjust merchandising plans accordingly.




  • Team Management:

    - Lead and manage a team of merchandisers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

    - Schedule and allocate work assignments to ensure coverage across all locations.



  • Product Display Management:

    - Ensure that all food products are displayed in a visually appealing and strategically advantageous manner.

    - Coordinate with store managers and retailers to maintain optimal product placement.

    - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team for timely restocking.



  • Sales Support:

    - Collaborate with the sales team to create promotional displays and marketing materials.

    - Assist in the execution of in-store promotions, product launches, and special events.



  • Reporting and Analysis:

    - Analyze sales data and market feedback to assess the effectiveness of merchandising efforts.

    - Prepare regular reports on sales performance, product visibility, and customer engagement.



  • Vendor and Supplier Coordination:

    - Work with suppliers and vendors to secure necessary materials for merchandising displays.

    - Negotiate with retailers for prime shelf space and favorable display terms.



  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:

    - Ensure that all merchandising activities comply with health and safety regulations, especially those specific to food products.

    - Maintain product quality and freshness by adhering to storage and display standards.

    Qualifications:



    - Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

    - At least 3-5 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the food industry.

    - Proven leadership and team management skills.

    - Strong understanding of retail operations and consumer behavior.

    - Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

    - Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.

    - Willingness to travel frequently to various retail locations.
