Position Title: Merchandise Officer- Section/ Department: Merchandising Department
Reporting directly to the Associate Merchandise Manager, the Merchandise Officer acts as a point person of the Department overseeing Distribution and Retail. The position will be responsible in monitoring inventories, deliveries and replenishments of the merchandise. The Merchandise Officer ensures that the store and the service providers deliver results and complies with the operational and commercial standards set by the management.
- SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for tracking of orders placed with principals.- Responsible for orders and tracking of Outright accounts.
Ensures that orders are properly dispatched in a timely manner to Consignment and Outright accounts, in proper coordination with WH.
- Reconciles data of orders placed, orders received, and incoming orders.
Day-to-day coordination with sub-distributors for any Merchandise related concerns
- Stock & Inventory Management
Ensures timely and proper replenishment across all stores.- Ensures that inventory per store is at its optimal level (i.e. initiates stock transfers when necessary
- Merchandise Administration
Works closely with Sales and Operations Team- Visits the stores and checks competitors as needed and provides a thorough retail check report.
Creates reports and analyzes sales figures.- Conducts sell through analysis on a store level.
Provides a thorough seasonal review to maximize brand sales potential for all channels.
Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Specifically, the position carries out the following Officer responsibilities:
- Planning-forecasting needs, prepares actual plans, and budgets and arranges time schedule; develop policies and simplified procedure.
Organizing- maintains coordination of activities across level through sound structure and regular interaction between and among group of employees.- Leading - develops high performing employees with full awareness and support to vision and core values of TSA through rational decision making, training, and coaching, opening communication channels like regular meeting and discussion, and employee recognition.
Managing - sets performance goals and standards to measure actual performance and determine performance plans.
4-year Graduate of Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
- Has background and knowledge in MERCHANDISING and/ or retail store operations.
Advance proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work under own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
