Merchandising Manager
Job Summary:
The (regional) Merchandising Manager role involves accountability in the analysis, planning, control and buying of the merchandise to hit the sales, margin and sell-thru objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Merchandise planning and Management
i. Accountable for the Sales Analysis and Buying Guides.
ii. Accountable for the Purchase budgets and Sales Planning.
iii. Works with Marketing Communications Division to develop divisional key concepts, strategies and store assortments to ensure that the collection is commercially viable and attractive to customers.
iv. In charge of communicating the collection to the selling team
Inventory Management
i. Accountable for the management of all inventory
ii. Accountable for Product Focus documents to be given to all stores
iii. Accountable for all consolidation planning and control
iv. In charge of the review and direction of all merchandise
v. Provides (marketing and store ops) Visual Merchandising directions
Administration / Stakeholder management
i. Acts as the Point of contact for the merchandising department
ii. overall direction for the merchandise division.
iii. Improves policies and guidelines for the merchandising division
iv. Manager a team of merchandise Associates
